‘Seattle Live’ at The Hard Rock Cafe off to a great start

I had a great time attending and covering the “Seattle Live” mixer tonight (8/11), sponsored by GOmixers & STRIVEMC. It is great to see artists and music biz folks putting together events that bring artists, music biz folks and fans together to network and mingle.

At SMI, we are all about building community here in the Northwest and music is one of the best conduits that we can think of. In my opinion, The Northwest, from Bellingham down to Portland has some of the best talent and musical artistry anywhere in the world. Events like this help solidify what has become a very fragmented scene.
