For many music festival lovers, Sasquatch! 2013 has become a Memorial Day tradition. Many come for the music and many just come for the festival and camping experience.

What makes Sasquatch! so enticing and special is the fact that it takes place in a little slice of heaven called The Gorge in George, Washington.

If you can deal without some of the creature comforts and the mediocre festival food that The Gorge vendors provide, noisy campgrounds and crowds, Sasquatch is a nice respite and escape from the daily grind.

This is evident by the fact that the festival sold out in record time, less than 90 minutes after tickets went on sale.

The festival is a total experience that celebrates art, creative expression and freedom and it comes wrapped up in a nice natural and beautiful package. There are a lot of great festivals throughout the world but like Bumbershoot, Sasquatch has a distinct Northwest flavor that is uniquely ours.

This year’s festival, which takes place Memorial Day weekend, May 24 – 27, will once again deliver an eclectic mix of local, national, and global artists from a variety of genres.
