SMI Radio Ep.57 On Demand: Thomas Dolby

Back in the early 80’s when MTV actually played videos and the “M” stood for music, Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science” was a video staple.

The catchy little tune put him on the map and introduced a generation to an eclectic fusion of technology and music.

Just recently, Mr. Dolby released his first full length record in twenty years,“A Map of The Floating City.” The critically acclaimed disc picks up where the artist left off in in 1992.

He’s currently on tour in support of the new record. The U.S. leg wrapped up in Los Angeles earlier this week. Last week, he was in Seattle and played a fantastic show at Showbox at the Market.  Check out the full write-up and the stunning photo slide show, courtesy of Jerry and Lois Levin, by clicking below.
