Alex Crick was on the scene at Capitol Hill Block Party’s annual urban festival extravaganza shooting fun and interesting portraits for CHBP artists who performed last weekend. Throughout the three-day festival on “The Hill,” Alex had the opportunity to meet up with many of the artists in fun and interesting locations, capturing some brilliant moments like he always seems to do.

Alex is one of the Northwest’s premier concert photographers. He has a unique approach to shooting artist portraits. Alex uses whatever is at his disposal to create an interesting backdrop and rich composition to really capture the personality and spirit of the artists he is shooting. With stylized glimpses and angles, music fans gain an interesting perspective of the artists they love off the stage and behind the scenes.
